In a groundbreaking moment of technological innovation, the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT) TASMU (SMART Qatar) has made history by entering the Guinness World Records Book for constructing the longest independent concrete structure using 3D printing technology.
The Ministry’s pavilion was built on an area of 170 square meters with a height of 12.4 meters, and was designed in the form of a tower consisting of ten levels with seven bricks in each row. It was built from 75 individual pieces printed with 3D technology, to be an ideal example of fruitful cooperation between different talents and experiences, and a living example of transforming ambitious visions into tangible reality.
