DOHA GARDEN CENTER is hiring 2 creative Florists to design and prepare beautiful floral arrangements for customers and special occasions. The role involves creating bouquets, centerpieces, wreaths, and decorative displays for everyday purchases as well as weddings, hotels, and corporate events, while caring for fresh flowers and providing friendly, professional service to ensure every arrangement is fresh, balanced, and visually appealing.
Job Responsibilities:
· Floral Arrangement & Design – Creating bouquets, centerpieces, wreaths, and decorative floral displays.
· Knowledge of Flowers & Plants – Understanding different flower varieties, seasons, colors, and care requirements.
· Creativity & Artistic Ability – Designing attractive and unique floral arrangements according to customer requirements.
· Flower Care & Handling – Proper cutting, conditioning, watering, storage, and preservation of fresh flowers.
· Customer Service – Understanding customer preferences and providing friendly, professional service.
· Attention to Detail – Ensuring arrangements are neat, balanced, fresh, and visually appealing.
· Color Coordination – Selecting suitable combinations of flowers, colors, foliage, and accessories.
· Event & Wedding Arrangements – Preparing floral decorations for weddings, parties, hotels, corporate events, and other occasions.
· Product Knowledge – Knowledge of vases, ribbons, wrapping materials, floral foam, accessories, and other florist supplies.
· Sales Skills – Recommending suitable products and upselling additional flowers or accessories.
· Inventory Management – Monitoring flower stock, supplies, wastage, and freshness.
· Basic Florist Tools – Safe and effective use of scissors, floral knives, wire, tape, foam, and other equipment.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience
- Relevant educational qualification
- Strong knowledge of flower varieties, seasons, colors, and care requirements
- Creativity and skill in floral design and color coordination
- Experience in flower handling, conditioning, and preservation
- Good customer service and sales skills
- Ability to monitor flower stock, supplies, and freshness
- Safe use of florist tools such as scissors, floral knives, wire, and foam
