Looking for a place to ring in 2026 with the family??? Then, Lusail Boulevard is the place to be tonight.
The entire evening will be packed with live entertainment and activities, but the real highlight starts later with a massive 3D mapping and laser light show projected onto the boulevard’s famous towers.
When the clock strikes midnight, there’s going to be a huge countdown followed by fireworks and “pyrodrones” (drones that shoot fireworks) to welcome the New Year.
Tonight’s New Year’s Eve celebration at Lusail Boulevard is a free, family-only event packed with a diverse range of entertainment, culminating in a spectacular multimedia countdown to 2026. The festivities run from 6:00 PM until 2:00 AM.
EVENT DETAILS:
- Location: Lusail Boulevard
- Time: 6:00 PM on Wednesday, December 31, 2025, to 2:00 AM on January 1, 2026
- Entry: General admission is free and exclusive to families only.
EVENING PROGRAM SCHEDULE:
The boulevard will transform into a lively entertainment zone with ongoing performances throughout the evening, building up to the main midnight spectacle.
- 6:00 PM: The event activations begin, and the 3D mapping and laser shows on the iconic towers will start to light up the night.
- 7:30 PM: Live stage performances kick off.
- 10:00 PM – 11:00 PM: A musical performance by singer Kadejah Moaath.
- 11:00 PM – 1:00 AM: DJ MK takes over the stage to keep the energy high.
- Midnight: The grand countdown to 2026, followed by the main fireworks display and a synchronized pyrodrones show (drones that launch fireworks).
Other entertainment you can expect includes:
- Acrobatic acts
- Sand artists
- Flame acts, sky glow, wind dancing, and mirror performers roaming the streets
TRANSPORTATION AND LOGISTICS:
To ensure smooth access for thousands of visitors, organizers have a specific plan:
- Metro: The Lusail QNB Metro Station (Red Line) provides easy, direct access to the boulevard, a short walk away.
- Shuttle Buses: Shuttle services will operate from all public parking areas to and from the boulevard, running from 3:00 PM until the last metro departure.
- Parking: Follow designated routes and use the specific public parking areas to avoid traffic congestion or violations.
Food and beverage stalls are available at various locations, including the nearby Lusail Food Arena, offering a wide array of dining options. Remember to arrive early to find parking and get a good spot to enjoy the shows.
