Doha Environmental Actions Project and Qatar Volunteers along with Qatar International Adventures organizes a social event by cleaning Sea-line dunes and Inland Sea coastal area to promote hygiene in Qatar. The volunteers will clean the beach areas on Friday ( 29th ) and the organizers believe that this activity will increase the cleanliness awareness. One of the forefront volunteer Jeanne Bedard Brown, a Canadian expat started Qatar Environmental Actions Project basically to clean up the beaches and its surroundings. Qatar is a place which is surrounded by 563km of coastline and it’s our duty to protect those beautiful coastlines. People are happy to spend time near coastlines and at the same time lots of wastes are piling up in the sea coast. ” Beach Cleaning Campaign ” will start tomorrow, and let’s clean our Coastlines together.
